GRIT REFUND POLICY​

Registration Status

A registration is considered complete when the player registration form, waiver/release, and payment (or approved payment arrangement) have been received.

​

A player spot is not guaranteed until registration is complete.

​

Refund Windows

GRIT may use the following refund structure for each season:

​

  • Full refund (minus processing fees) until registration closes

  • Partial refund available after registration closes and before the first game, subject to committed league costs

  • No refunds after the season begins, except for approved medical hardship or league cancellation

Non-Refundable Costs

  • Processing fees

  • Uniforms/shirts/custom items already ordered

  • Insurance or player-specific costs already committed

​

Medical Hardship

GRIT may review refund or credit requests for athletes who are unable to participate due to a significant injury or medical condition.

​

  • Medical hardship requests must be submitted in writing.

  • GRIT may request documentation if needed.

  • If approved, GRIT may issue either a partial refund or a credit toward a future season/event.

Medical hardship decisions are made at the discretion of the league.

​

League Cancellation / Season Changes

If GRIT cancels a season before it begins, families will receive a full refund for that season.

If the season format changes due to weather, facility availability, registration numbers, or other circumstances beyond the league’s control, GRIT may adjust schedules, game counts, divisions, or postseason format without automatically issuing refunds.

If a season is shortened after it begins, refunds are not guaranteed.

​

Removal for Conduct

If a participant or family is removed from the league for Code of Conduct violations, unsafe behavior, repeated sideline issues, or other disciplinary reasons, no refund will be issued.

How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be submitted to: info@gritflag.com

​

A refund request should include:

  • Player name

  • League/division

  • Reason for withdrawal or request

  • Best contact email/phone

​

Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 14 days.

​

Final Authority

GRIT reserves the right to interpret and apply this policy in good faith based on league operations, committed costs, and fairness to all participants.
