Registration for the 2026 FALL Season!

GRIT is a local youth girls and boys flag football league built to provide a safe, well-organized, high-energy experience for student athletes and families. We emphasize fundamentals, confidence, sportsmanship, and a consistent game-day environment.

GRIT operates as a standalone local league and partners with Hallsville ISD for facilities and community support.

Divisions:

Girls 6U - 8U - 10U - 12U - 14U

Boys 6U - 8U - 10U - 12U - 14U

Fall 2026 Season:

• Training Camp: July 18 (Registered players only)

• Combine (All) & Draft Day (Coaches): August 15

• 6-8 Games: Saturdays from September 12 to November 7

• Post-season: End-of-season tournament/playoff event on November 14

Final number of games depends on registration totals, division size, field capacity, and final calendar approvals.

Parent/Guardian Waiver, Release, and Authorizations

Please review each section below carefully. By checking the required boxes and submitting this form, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to the applicable terms on behalf of your participant.

Waiver, Assumption of Risk, and Release of Liability

By registering my child for GRIT 5v5 FLAG, I acknowledge and understand that participation in youth flag football involves inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, physical exertion, weather-related conditions, equipment-related risks, and other known or unknown risks associated with athletic activity.

Medical Authorization and Medical Expense Responsibility

If I cannot be reached in an emergency, I authorize GRIT staff, coaches, volunteers, and emergency personnel to obtain reasonable medical treatment for my child as deemed necessary.

Code of Conduct and League Policies

I understand that athletes, parents/guardians, coaches, and spectators are expected to follow GRIT’s Code of Conduct and all league policies.

Photo/Video Release

I understand that GRIT may photograph, record, or otherwise capture images, audio, or video of league activities, including practices, games, combines, drafts, clinics, camps, tournaments, and related events.

Transportation, Pickup, and Communication Consent

I understand that I am responsible for my child’s transportation to and from all GRIT activities, including practices, games, combines, drafts, clinics, camps, tournaments, and related events.

Parent Guardian Confirmation

By signing below, I confirm that I am the parent/legal guardian of the participant and agree to the terms above.
